The visionary, founder, and inventor behind LUM and all its products is Professor Dr. Dietmar Lerche (or simply Dietmar, as his family, friends, employees, colleagues, and clients call him). Dietmar started LUM in the early ‘90s in a small university laboratory in Berlin, Germany.
Since then, LUM has become known worldwide for its unique and one-of-a-kind product offerings and solutions.
LUM GmbH is a family-owned company located in the same office park on the outskirts of beautiful Berlin, Germany, where it began many years ago.
